September 20, 2008 hitting the streets again!

Hello Friends!

Greetings from Bolingbrook, IL, where I am currently spending time visiting with my family (I'll be on a airplane back to New Orleans on October 1).

I wanted to send out a post today to specifically solicit your prayers for our team as they head out onto the streets tomorrow morning. Although we hit the streets last Monday, the rainy weather kept most of our friends away from the usual hang-outs. So tomorrow will be really important in reconnecting with friends we have not seen in more than a month. Angie, Shaan, Jack, and Goke will be on the streets tomorrow (Saturday) morning. Please join me in praying for physical and spiritual protection for the team and for those they meet. I pray in faith that our friends will be encouraged and uplifted to reconnect with Angie and the boys as well as with Goke. I also pray that the street outreach team will also be ministered to during their time downtown. Please pray that the fruits of their labor will be sweet. Thanks for your support and for continually lifting us up through encouragement and prayer!
